MSC Euribia
Euribia is recognized as the most environmentally advanced ship in MSC's fleet. One of its particularities is that its hull design was opened to competition in October 2021, so that artists from all over the world could send their ideas. MSC focuses on zero-impact operations and a commitment to environmental sustainability, the company's motto is "blue leads to discovery, but green leads us to a better future for all". Among all the ships that make up the MSC fleet, Euribia will sail the seas being the second ship powered by LNG, thus taking another step towards sustainability.

Explore the Majestic Kiel Canal: A Traveler's Guide Nestled in the heart of northern Germany, the Kiel Canal, or Nord-Ostsee-Kanal, stands as a marvel of engineering and a gateway to the scenic beauty of the region. Stretching 98 kilometers (61 miles) from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea, this bustling waterway is one of the world's busiest artificial canals, offering a unique blend of natural splendor and industrial prowess. Whether you are a history enthusiast, nature lover, or maritime aficionado, the Kiel Canal promises an unforgettable journey through time and tide. One of the canal's most captivating features is its picturesque landscapes. As you travel along the waterway, you'll be greeted by charming villages, lush meadows, and dense forests that line the banks. The canal's well-maintained towpaths are perfect for cycling and walking, allowing you to soak in the serene ambiance at your own pace. Don't miss the chance to visit the charming town of Rendsburg, where you can explore the historic High Bridge and the unique transporter bridge, a rare engineering feat that carries vehicles and pedestrians across the canal. For those fascinated by maritime history, the Kiel Canal offers a front-row seat to observe the seamless choreography of naval traffic. The canal sees over 30,000 ship passages annually, including massive container ships, luxury yachts, and naval vessels. A visit to the locks at either end of the canal, in Kiel-Holtenau and Brunsbüttel, provides an up-close view of the intricate operations that allow these colossal ships to traverse from sea to sea. The Kiel Canal Museum in Brunsbüttel offers further insights into the canal's construction and significance, making it a must-visit for history buffs. Finally, no trip to the Kiel Canal would be complete without experiencing its vibrant cultural offerings. Throughout the year, the region hosts a variety of festivals and events that celebrate its rich maritime heritage. From the Kiel Week, one of the world's largest sailing events, to smaller local fairs and markets, there's always something to enjoy. Be sure to sample the local cuisine, which features fresh seafood and traditional German dishes, providing the perfect end to a day spent exploring this fascinating waterway. Whether you're cruising along its waters or exploring its surrounding countryside, the Kiel Canal offers a diverse and enriching travel experience that captures the essence of northern Germany.

Day 2
copenhagen, denmark
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 18:00
A decade ago, visitors came to Copenhagen just for its canals, cobbled squares, charming streets and pastel painted houses. Now this city is most known for its innovative design, cutting edge architecture and its top-rated restaurants. This historic city of canals has become trendy, cosmopolitan and exciting, without losing its old charms. The fairytalelike port of Nyhavn, the city’s legendary waterfront, is the most traditional sight of Copenhagen, where visitors enjoy the cobbled streets and colorful houses that contrasts with Langelinje quay, where the city’s most famous attraction, The Little Mermaid, is located. Walking along the Langelinje quay, the modern opera house appears on the horizon bringing tourists back into the 21st century. Another of the city’s new waterfront landmarks is the Black Diamond entertainment complex, an additional reason to travel beyond the tiny tourist-focussed centre. The building itself is stunning and provides a unique opportunity to lounge in a deckchair overlooking the water. Two of the coolest areas of the city are Veesterbro and Norrebro, away from the herds of tourists. These vibrant neighbourhoods will allow the most adventurous travelers to mix with the locals and experience the buzzing atmosphere of places like the Norrebro Food Hall, a covered foodie market, or the Ralea, the restaurant where local chefs go to get food after work. Copenhagen’s coolest borough of trendy bars, design stores and eateries, where visitors can experience the culinary revolution the city has to offer, it's just a metro ride from the city centre. The less-travelled island neighbourhood of Christianshavn offers a tranquil glimpse of residential life and canal-side strolls. It’s also home to the “free town” of Christiana, a colourful alternative community built by hippies in the 1970s, which shines with galleries and cafés, and has its own, strict set of rules. Copenhagen is clean, safe and easy to get to know. It is also one of Europe’s greenest cities and its public transport would make New York green with envy. Its centre is reserved for pedestrians and strict anti-pollution laws enforced. It’s an environmentally idyllic spot with plenty of green space and bicycles often outnumber cars, so be careful of stepping out into bike lanes. Wander carefree to the world-famous Tivoli amusement park and the city’s delightful botanical garden, or take to the pavement cafés and restaurants in the summer alongside the locals. Whatever you decide to do in the Danish capital, whether you dig design and dine, or wander in wonder, Copenhagen will keep calling you back like a siren.

Day 4
hellesylt, norway
Arrival: 09:00 - Departure: 21:00
Hellesylt is a small village in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village lies at the head of the Sunnylvsfjorden, which is a branch of the Storfjorden, and which the more famous Geirangerfjorden in turn branches off nearby. The 0.44-square-kilometre (110-acre) village has a population (2018) of 258 and a population density of 586 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,520/sq mi). There are several hundred other people living in the surrounding valley area as well. In the summertime, thousands of tourists travel through or stay in Hellesylt each day. Most of them take the ferry to the nearby village of Geiranger, which in high season runs every one and a half hours. There is also a cruise ship pier that can handle very large ships. The village is surrounded by mountains and valleys. The Sunnylven Church is located in Hellesylt, which was the administrative center of the former municipality of Sunnylven. Hellesylt is under constant threat from the mountain Åkerneset, which is about to erode into the Sunnylvsfjord. A collapse could cause a tsunami destroying most of downtown Hellesylt.

Day 5
alesund, norway
Arrival: 07:00 - Departure: 17:00
Old-fashioned pinnacle buildings dot the stone-paved streets of Alesund, a bustling port surrounded by jade-green fjords and forested mountains. After burning to the ground in 1904, Alesund was rebuilt and lavishly embellished with the help of Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany. The Norwegian architects who supervised the rebuild were heavily influenced by Jugendstil, the German version of Art Nouveau, and the town is now one of the best remaining examples of this sinuous, highly personalized, turn-of-the-century style. Moreover, Alesund is the perfect place to explore some of Norway's most famous natural and cultural attractions. Alesund's beautiful Art Nouveau architecture is known far and wide. Narrow streets are crammed with buildings topped with turrets, spires and gables that bear decorations of dragonheads and curlicues. As one of the few remaining Art Nouveau towns in the world, in 1998 Alesund was awarded the coveted Houens National Memorial Prize for the preservation of its unique architecture. The Alesund Museum, in the centre of town, illustrates the city’s rich past with ship models and vintage clothing. For a breathtaking view of Old Alesund, the harbour, and the mountains beyond walk up to Aksla hill. Birdwatchers will enjoy the island of Runde, a sanctuary for birds. Alesund is a modern city with a varied cultural scene and exciting cafes and restaurants. The sea, the fjords, the mountains, the multitude of islands, all so pretty and inviting and the myriad of turrets, spires and beautiful ornamentation that give the town its distinctive character are like something from a fairytale.

Flåm is a village in the municipality of Aurland, in the province of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. It is located at the end of the Aurlandsfjord, which is in turn an arm of the Sognefjord. The town of Flåm has been a popular tourist destination since the late 19th century. It currently receives approximately 450,000 visitors a year. Major attractions include the fjord boat trip and the Flåmsbana, a 20km train between Flåm and Myrdal, being one of the most uneven railways in the world (including several spirals). An old train station houses a museum dedicated to Flåmsbana. The Rallarvegen route, linking Haugastøl with Voss, is also one of the main tourist attractions, especially for cyclists. Access by car to Flåm can be done by the European route E16 connecting Oslo and Bergen.
